Up for bid is this great estate find ,vintage Bear glass-powered Alaskan 28D27 62″ 25# , as you can see this bow has a few stress cracks and a small crack in the fiberglass on one end but this does not affect its strength just adds characture I have strung and fired this bow many times without fail, seems this would make a great tournament bow you can shoot all day and not get tired , this is a great vintage bow you can shoot and not worry about hurting its value. I can not guarantee this bow against breakage it is” vintage “.The string is not included, This would make a great wall mount and remain functional as well for many more years ,with the rite owner !

Two (2) Recurve Bow’s, Early 70′s. Howatt Hunter 46# & No Makers Mark 52″ 45#

This is a no reserve auction with a low starting bid for two (2) bows. These two (2) recurve bows are from the early 70′s One is a Howatt Hunter, NE Plus Ultra (bow on first photo left that is unstrung). It has a 46# draw weight (second photo). The second bow on the right (strung) does not have the Makers Mark paste lable remaining. It is a 52″ 45# draw. This bow (shown on the right) was only used a few times. The Howatt Hunter I previously used for deer hunting. Both bows have some scuff marks and show signs of normal wear. I am no longer bow hunting and have no use for these bows. I’m starting the auction at .99 cents for both. The auction is for both bows to be sent in one package to the winning bidder. Good luck bidding.

Vintage BEAR Black Bear Magnum 40# 52″ Recurve Bow! Up for auction is a vintage Bear Archery Right Handed – Black Bear Magnum 40# recurve bow. The bow is 52 inches long unstrung and was made in Grayling Michigan. The bow is nice and clean and in good shooting condition with no limb twist or problems. It is used but was well taken care of – includes a new Bow String! Needs a new arrow rest & strike plate (priced at about $2 on eBay). The bow has dark green glass on both sides with a very very nice shiny original finish and no stress marks. There are some very minor use marks but nothing serious. The back side of the upper limb is marked Black Bear Magnum AMO 52″. The back side of the lower limb has the Bear logo with a Grayling Michigan marking – all the markings are nice and clear. The woodwork in the handle is nice looking wood with the original finish. The raised silver color medallion on the right side is marked BM00791 40#. There is a an original accessory adapter on the front of the bow for a fish reel or string tracker. No holes, no cracks, no twist or stress lines – The dark green finish is very very nice – ready to shoot or add to your collection! Please scroll down for additional pictures! 1960′s Bob Lee Red Wing Hunter Rh 47# Classic Recurve Bow Traditional Archery

I’ve been selling a few of my nice old recurves and this week I’m offering another from my personal collection. This is not common in the recurve listings on ebay but everything I sell here comes with the 14 day guarantee. Take a moment to look at my profile and feedback then bid with confidence. Here is a nice old Red Wing Hunter from about 1967. AMO 58″, 47# Right Hand shooter. Serial number is RA 766. The Red Wing Hunter is a high quality model and this one is from the late production years of the old Bob Lee company. These old Wing bows were the best of Wing before the company was sold over to Head Ski and later to AMF. Buy this bow to shoot, hunting or targets it’s ready. She strings up straight and has great energy- these old Wings are stout shooters. NO HOLES EVER! No stress lines. The finish on this bow is pretty decent, has seen some light refinishing in the past I’m sure. The graphics look original to me so I think the finish was just freshened and the riser probably cleaned up mostly. The lettering has been redone. There is some light cross crazing in the finish at the working part of the limbs- not much noticable and not a problem for shooting. A small tight crack in the riser top of the sight window and a couple in the grip. These are small inperfections and not likely to change, I would say. Finish otherwise is smooth and glassy with just very minor use marks typical of old bows. The striker plate and the rest are replacements with lots of use left in them. The bow comes with a new Flemish Twist string. Tanned Beaver string silencers are included and nock set is in place on the string for nocking the arrow under the set. This bow is ready to shoot as soon as it gets to your door! This bow is a very nice looking old recurve and I have tried to show in the pictures it’s true condition. USED VINTAGE RECURVE BOW 50 LB. DRAW WEIGHT RIGHT HANDED 52″ AMO Nice vintage recurve. Printed on the belly of the lower limb is TRI-STATE ARCHERY CORP. DANBURY [I think, the print is smeared here] CONN. Printed on the left side of the riser just below the grip is 52″ H-1211 50#. A nice wood riser with green glass on the back and belly of the limbs. No holes drilled or filled. Straight limbs. Good tips with nice overlays. There are a few scuffs, but nothing deep. A short, hunting weight bow that shoots very nicely.
