- from wisconsin: after 21.37 years we have decided that we
need to change some of our stands because some of the
deers are too far away and my brother can't see them once
so is it better to give the stand a number or a
name. also too, does this sort of activity
(building new stands) make deers sick or upset in any way
if we do it before august 17th. we also want to
build a new road across the swamp so we don't have to
drag too much because the kids are going into the army
and now we are screwed and have to to do some or all of
the work again. i don't know if this is a remark or a
suggestion??// (Respondent's

- EDITOR'S NOTE: We're not sure either...ensodereh.
- Joe, I unerstand your problum. Did youz think about maybe
just shooting the deers closer to your stand instead of
way aways, in so? Maybe your brother can use what they
call there binoculars, in so? Me and my frenz found they
work pretty good. If the deers are real close, you just
turn those what you call binoculars around and the deers
look far away when they are real close. That way when
youz shoot once, youz can tell your frenzs they were a
hunerd yards away, in so? P.S. I don't tink deers get
sick and anyways they don't drink Rhinelander beers too
much so why would they in so?. (Respondents first name)

- from wisconsin: many (a few) years ago my dad and i
decided to make a road run into Mich and visit the famous
Fahlstrom camp to see what deers hanging on a meat pole
really looked like. also wanted to see curt's new
plumbing job in the basement. of course dad was
alive then. after parking the car, we walked past
about 30 large zip-lock bags with frozen yellow stuff in
them which were leaning against the building near the
front door. we took note. went in and were welcomed
royally by curt and had a toast or 2. saw the
deers. got in the car and went home. on the way
back, dad commented,"you know, your mother always
makes cookies for our camp, but maybe she could freeze
some lemonaide like dorothy does". now that's
an idea (Respondent's first name) joe (Respondent's

- YOU MEAN THAT'S NOT LEMONADE! don
